Turn Avenas Nano - the passive material that blocks heat with zero energy - into a product the world can use. Working hand in hand with our science team, you'll lead the path from lab to market: scale-up, the product roadmap, the technical team, and the partners and customers who put it into real products.
What you'll own
- Industrial scale-up - owning the product and manufacturing roadmap.
- Standards and certification, all the way to market.
- Building and leading the technical team.
- Working with customers, partners and manufacturers.
- Partnering on the business side, hand in hand with the founders.
What we're looking for
- A chemical or materials engineer - or strong hands-on process experience with inorganic nano-materials. Backgrounds in materials science, chemistry, or materials / chemical / mechanical engineering all welcome.
- Proven scale-up from lab to production.
- Experience with standards and certification (ASTM / ISO, fire, VOC).
- A transferable adjacent field: nano-materials, coatings, solid- or gas-phase nanoparticle synthesis, or thin films.
- Startup experience.
- Experience managing people and building a team.
- Comfortable working with customers and carrying a technical conversation.
- Full availability.
- 3-7 years of experience.
